Gift Guide for Those Who’d Rather Stamps on their Passports

The Holiday Season has arrived. Christmas is only a few weeks away, and so begins the annual shopping panic.

There’s always that one person who is difficult to shop for. There’s aways that one person who seems to have it all. But what about those people that don’t want anything at all? Who don’t want anything else but experiences and more stamps on their passports.

Well, have no fear, because I’ve put together a Gift Guide for those very people – the travellers, the wanderlusters, the backpackers, the nomads of your group.
Holiday Gift Guide (3)

1.) Beats Noise Cancellation Headphones
$250-400 AUD
When you’re a frequent flyer on a budget, and you can’t afford the lush first class (or even business class), you learn real quickly how vital Noise Cancellation Headphones can be to your sanity. Screaming babies, the Bachelor Party raging at 10 am, the constant humming of the plane. These headphones are a perfect gift to those who are always up in the air.

2.) Scratch off Map
$40-49 AUD
I’m a huge lover of maps. Sam and I own this map, and absolutely love coming home form trips and being able to scratch off where we went to. It comes in a poster holder, and is easy to travel with. It also looks great hung on the wall as a piece of art – one that you’ve created with your own experiences.

3.) Go Pro
The Go Pro is a traveler’s dream. It’s compact, light, sturdy, great quality and has tons of accessories to fit any activity.

4.) Enjoy Globally Leather Travel Journal
$25 USD
With long flights, train rides and layovers, there is always time to write down the moments you don’t want to forget. There are so many times I go back into m travel journals from years ago, and find myself laughing for hours over all of the little memories I seemed to forget. This leather journal is stylish and is made for some wear and tear.

5.) Floppy Hat
$30-45 AUD
Sun protection and style? Count me in! These hats also make for a great cover behind a bad hair day – something that happens quite often on the road.

6.) Shhnooze Privacy Towel
$30 AUD
I wish I knew of Shhnooze before I went on my European adventures! The Shhnooze towel works as a fast-dry towel and a privacy curtain for those multiple bed hostel rooms. It packs up tight in your suitcase. You can use it as a towel, as opposed to using the towels from the hostel. Then, as you dry it, it gives you some privacy in the multiple person rooms. Perfect gift for a backpacker!

7.)  Eyn iPhone Case
$29.99 USD
These cases are great for going out and making sure all of your belongings are together. When you don’t want to bring your entire wallet out with you, you can easily fit your keys, cards and some cash.

8.) Enjoy Globally Wanderlust World Watch
$25-30 USD
Every traveler can use a good watch. Like I said before, I’m a huge fan of maps. So this watch is perfect!

Happy Holidays and Happy Travels everyone!

Love these ideas, especially the scratch off map. I definitely want to get some sort of map we can either add pins to or scratch together as we love to travel 🙂 I know he’d love the beats or the go-pro but were on a pretty tight budget this Christmas with swinging a few days in Rome and me staying a month in England. Maybe next Christmas!

    Nice article 🙂

The scratch off map is a great gift – awesome way to share memories together, and it also looks so nice when framed and hung on the wall. I’d love the beats headphones as well, but as all travelers seem to know, we’d rather spend money on experiences than on headphones! haha

That towel is so cute! I love that even has a fake door printed on it. “Welcome to my room/ bed/ shower stall”

Isn’t it great! I discovered Shhnooze at Sydney’s Travel Expo a few weeks ago. Next time I backpack (hopefully soon), I’m definitely getting one 😉
